I know I'm on late, but just a quick post - I want to show how well a mould Oyumaru makes, and if it is made properly, it is very useful! Firstly, I made a two part mould of my chibi figurine (tutorial to come later), and once the mould sets, you can use it. Melon bread! They were fun to make, but I agonised over the colouring of them, and settled for light brown and brown, maybe for the next batch I will try light green ^_^ I used green oval gems to decorate as leaves:

We're three-quarters of a way through the charms I have made! Finished. Sparklified. Whatever -_-"

The bird charm, one of it's kind at the moment, I really need to make more of it. I randomly made it when I had a spare bit of clay, and I didn't want to pack it away. I used a flower slice and gems to decorate:

Continuing on! Here are the choc-chip cookie charms! I used a black heart-shaped gem and stuck it on the back of the cookies, it's a bit hard to see the shape because of the colour, I don't know if I could have done more though, hmm...

Lately I have been busy decorating the charms I have with flat-back gems, and I've finished! At least the batch that has been baked and painted and glossed anyway. For the past couple of weeks now, I went a little nuts with online shopping and bought a heck lot of stuff on ebay or etsy, and the orders have been trickling in. So far, I've gotten my phone cords, from ebay - 800 in total with 8 different colours, for a pretty good price on an auction:

Oh my goodness, someone kill me now! I'm at work and on my lunch break I stopped by Spotlight ... and bought a heap of stuff! And I'm not sure how I convinced myself to buy so many things! My orders have been slowly trickling in, and some of the moulds have arrived! Along with the canes, flatback gems, felting tools and mobile cords! First of all I hooked up the completed charms onto the mobile cords, and are now slowly decorating them with gems and the canes and what not. While I was on ebay buying those flatback gems, canes and phone cords, I got to thinking about moulds - making all of those charms were horrendously time consuming, so wasn't there a way to make one thing, and make a mould out of it?
